Description of the event:
An adult evening out to support all Ballard Performing Arts groups.
For attire, cocktail dress is recommended, but not required. Tropical attire encouraged.
The evening includes a dinner, silent auction, a small live auction, and student performances.
The student groups scheduled to perform will be announced later. The smaller groups and ensembles usually participate.
If your student is performing, they do not need to purchase a ticket to attend. For dinner, they will have a pizza dinner in the performer's room. Except when performing, we ask that student performers stay out of the main hall.
All funds go the Ballard Performing Arts Boosters budget. This budget covers costs of coaching, scholarships, as well as sheet music, uniform cleaning and repairs, festival fees, and transportation to events.
Parking is free in Swedish Center lot and a lot across Dexter.
Drinks include beer and specialty cocktail for a suggested donation and free soda and water.
Dinner will be sit, family style. This means each course will be served on one platter for the attendees to share. Meal choices are Kahlua Pork or BBQ tofu.
What groups are performing? The groups scheduled are Jazz I and II, Vocal Jazz, Chamber Orchestra, Fiddle and the Thespians.
If I'm volunteering, do I need to buy a ticket? Our basic rule is if you are going to enjoy the meal, we would appreciate you buying a ticket. Hey, it's all for the kids!
My kid is preforming, how long will they be there? We ask the students be there 30 min prior to their performance time. Schedule TBA. Student are free to leave after they perform or can hang out in the performer/volunteer room until the end of the night.
Can't make it to the auction?
